Psy&Tech Workshops for Youth (Ages 7-18)

Age-adapted workshops combining wellbeing, social skills and digital literacy

Where psychology meets technology

At Vision Tree vzw, we believe that emotional wellbeing and digital literacy are deeply connected. Our Psy&Tech Workshops for youth bring together insights from psychology (wellbeing, social skills and resilience) with hands-on technology activities (coding, AI literacy and digital safety) in carefully designed, age-adapted modules.

Each programme is tailored to a specific age group: 7-11, 12-15 and 16-18 years old. The language, the exercises and the psychological approach are deliberately adapted to the developmental stage of each child or young person, creating an experience that is both stimulating and emotionally safe.

Workshops take place in schools, youth organisations and other settings working with children and young people in Brussels and the surrounding area. Bespoke programmes are always possible. See our pages for educational institutions and youth organisations for more details.

Age Groups: A Tailored Programme for Each Stage

Three distinct age bands, each with its own approach and content

Ages 7-11

Children (Ages 7-11)

Through playful learning activities, children discover their emotions and learn healthy ways to express and manage them. On the technology side, they work with Scratch to create simple stories and animations. The focus is on curiosity, self-expression and cooperation.

Ages 12-15

Teenagers (Ages 12-15)

Identity development takes centre stage at this age. Young people learn to set boundaries, handle peer pressure and recognise cyberbullying. On the technical side, they move to Python, explore AI tools and develop responsible, safe habits online and on social media.

Ages 16-18

Young Adults (Ages 16-18)

In-depth workshops on stress, exam anxiety, career orientation and mental resilience. Technically: advanced programming, game development, AI ethics and media literacy. The emphasis is on self-direction and preparation for higher education or the job market.
