Digital Education for Parents at Risk of Technology Exclusion

Confident, connected parents in a digital world.

Digital Education for Parents at Risk of Technology Exclusion

Overview of the project

Expected results: increased digital confidence and regular use of essential online services by parents, reduced risk of exclusion, a reusable toolkit (trainer guide, microlearning library and plain-language resources), trained facilitators, and a sustainable local support network that continues beyond the project.

Key activities include a needs assessment, a modular curriculum (messaging/apps basics, school portals, online safety and cyber-hygiene, AI basics for families), local workshops and help-clinics, micro e-learning units and printable guides, mentoring and community ambassadors, as well as continuous monitoring, evaluation and dissemination.

The aim of the project

The project empowers parents at risk of technology exclusion to support children's learning, access school platforms and e-government services, protect privacy and online safety, and build everyday digital confidence through a practical, community-based learning pathway.

Our Role

Vision Tree (Belgium) leads AI and digital-safety modules, designs Brussels workshops and clinics, ensures accessibility (UDL and plain-language materials), coordinates digital dissemination, and co-leads monitoring, evaluation and impact reporting.
