Inclusive Cybersecurity Training for Youth Employment (Cyberskills)

Building job-ready cyber skills for all young people.

Inclusive Cybersecurity Training for Youth Employment (Cyberskills)

Overview of the project

Expected results: improved digital-security awareness and employability of participants, a blended training program with platform and serious game, a basic certification scheme recognized by partners, trained trainers with reusable learning resources, and stronger local-to-EU networks that support inclusive cyber careers.

Key activities include outreach to youth services and schools, skills assessment using a competence-based REWIRE approach, co-creation of a blended curriculum, development of an e-learning platform and serious game, internal testing and consortium feedback, piloting in partner cities, design of certification and quality/standardization procedures, and EU-level dissemination.

The aim of the project

The project equips disadvantaged and mainstream youth (16–29) with foundational to intermediate cybersecurity competences linked to employability through an inclusive blended program with hands-on workshops, an e-learning platform and an interactive serious game; it also strengthens trainers’ capacity and creates an entry-level certification pathway.

Our Role

Vision Tree (Belgium) leads Brussels workshops and pilots, co-leads quality and evaluation, ensures accessibility (UDL/low-barrier formats), supports e-learning localization and the certification framework, and manages digital dissemination and stakeholder outreach.
