The first newsletter of the Erasmus+ project DEPART has been published. You can read and download it here: DEPART Newsletter no. 1 (PDF).
The newsletter looks back at the kick-off meeting of 4 December 2025 in Targu Jiu, Romania, where the partners from Romania, Belgium, Italy, Poland and Slovenia sat around the same table for the first time. That meeting set the target groups, the activities and the structure of the DEPART Learning Kit, along with the agreements on dissemination, quality assurance and project management for the two years ahead.
Two working sessions followed. In Brussels, at the beginning of April, the partners reviewed the first chapters of the guide, the workshop activities and the educational videos. In Salerno, five days were spent on the chapter about digital security for the family, testing the e-learning platform and finalising the scripts for the next videos.
The Learning Kit consists of a practical guide, six educational videos, an e-learning platform and ready-to-use workshop models. In the next phase the materials will be tested, educators trained and workshops with parents organised, while a European network of organisations committed to digital inclusion and digital parenting is being built.
